Let it Snow!

We received an early Christmas present this year. It snowed more in Florence than it had in 15-20 years. It was beautiful.

 

By morning, this was the view from our kitchen window. We couldn't wait to get outside.

The girls were able to do some of their favorite things: play in the snow with their dad, make snow angels, and eat snowballs.

 

Later, they created a new friend in the park...

....who in turn, made other park friends!

We loved roaming around the city and finding our favorite places all dressed up in white.

David didn't seem to be bothered by the snow. Dante, on the other hand, seems to be bothered by everything.

Our friends in Florence can't explain the rare and beautiful snowfall this December. All we know is that for two girls who live in Florence this year, a month of prayers had been answered!
