It was difficult to travel to Paris with kids at Christmastime and ignore the biggest slice of our homeland in all of Europe. So, we took the metro to Paris Disney for a day and compared it with the one we know in Anaheim, CA.
We're pretty sure it was the coldest day on record in Paris. Let's just say that this snow wasn't sprayed out of a giant pole each night at 9 o'clock. Dumbo was cold, and so were we.....BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Even at our collective, old, Orlando ages, we couldn't get enough of Fantasyland or those spinning tea cups. And when we needed to warm up, we just got cozy in a boat and took a ride through the Small World.
(Check out this latest addition to the ride that explores a fantastic array of cultural peoples who contribute to us being a Small World together: Hollywood. Yikes!) |
The girls loved the day, and joked around a lot.... |
....They scored some great, sidewalk spots for watching two different parades....
...and headed home happy, full of an International love for painted elephants, sparkling palaces, traditional Christmas carols, lots of fantasy and a little slice of home.
I just caught up on your most recent posts & I can't quit scrolling through the pictures! Absolutely beautiful!!! Your adventure continues! You're definitely making the most of your time. Enjoy it for us! =]
ReplyDeleteLove you!!!
I really, really, really wish I would have been with you! I like the first photo outside the gate, and the last one. I love cold weather, snow, and Disneyland. The combination sounds like heaven!!! With lots of love, Dylan
